Kent Mattox is a native of Oxford, Alabama. His wife, Beverly, is from Morehead City, North Carolina. From 1988 until 1997, they served as associate pastors at World Outreach Center in Orlando, Florida with Pastor Benny Hinn. From 1997 to the present they have traveled extensively around the world as missionary evangelists. In the last fifteen years, the ministry has visited over fifty different nations proclaiming the good news of the Gospel of Christ.
In December of 2000, the doors of Word Alive International Outreach were opened in answer to God’s call to build His church. This work has both a domestic and international vision; helping to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of those held in captivity by the enemy.
“Running The Race,” Kent and Beverly’s TV program, can be seen six days a week. Join in and be encouraged to continue to “Run the Race of Faith.”
Together, Kent and Beverly Mattox have a dynamic ministry and a burning desire to see those bound by the enemy set free. They are anointed to preach and teach the Word of God and to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. They both have a down-to-earth, practical way of sharing God’s message and a desire to help others flow in the gifts God has given them.
The Mattoxes also have authored works including Kent’s, “No High Like the Most High” and Beverly’s, “I Could Not Call Him Father” and “Rejection Revealed.” Their newest publication is a collaborated devotional, “Running the Race.” Their current Word Alive music collaboration is the powerful CD, “Church without Walls.”
Sam M. Carr is the founding pastor of Word of Life Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Word of Life Center is a church reaching out to the world. Pastor Carr is as an international speaker, well known as an anointed teacher and minister, presenting the Word of God with boldness, clarity, and simplicity. His message is always fresh and relevant to the hour.
Pastor Carr hosts “Word Alive”, a daily television program, airing in various markets, including India, Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. “Word Alive” is a locally produced television program sharing spiritual principles for daily living from the Word of God.
Pastor Carr has a heart and vision to reach the world with the Gospel. He has ministered the Word of God in leadership and pastors conferences in countries around the world, including, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Mexico, Russia, Bermuda, Philippines, China, Korea, France, Sweden, India and Africa.
In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Carr is a member of the International Convention of Faith Ministers (ICFM), a board member of CG.I. (Church Growth International, Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Chairman) and a board member of Mercy Ministries.
Pastor Carr and his wife Becky have three children, a son, Taylor, and two daughters, Lindsey and Lainey.
